I have been teaching Biology at Farmersville since 2005. I also teach AP Biology. In addition to my classroom duties I am also senior class sponsor, NHS Advisor, Science Olympiad Coach, and UIL Science coach.

I graduated from McKinney High School, then graduated from Southern Arkansas University with a B.S. in Biology. I did my graduate work in Biology at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi.

Before teaching high school I taught Biology & Microbiology Labs at TAMU-CC and CCCC. My past research includes blood parasites of blue winged teal, fecal contamination at beaches, and entomology.

I have been married for 14 years, and my husband and I had our first baby this past year! What an adventure!
